It sits on the northwest corner of the Milwaukee/Diversey/Kimball intersection. A local entrepreneur built it in 1930. He dubbed it, “a hair pin with a hump.” The building known as the “hump building” maintains that name today due to the camel insignia found on the building’s exterior and entry lobby floor.
